He was installed as pastor in July of 2009.
Philosophy of Ministry:

Ministry Motto:
"Truth in Love, Truth in Power."
Corrine Anton - Minister of Pastoral Care
Personal Biography:
Corrine was born in Milwaukee, lived in Spooner for her first five years and then moved back to Milwaukee. She attended grade school, high school, MATC and UWM all in Milwaukee, leaving the area in 1972. All of her summers, while growing up, were spent in the Spooner/Trego area and Superior, therefore relocation in the Twin Ports seemed only natural. Corrine enjoys watching baseball (especially the Brewers) and basketball. Other hobbies include music and board games. She has a son Larry, daughter-in-law, Jennifer, and grandchildren Jackson and Olivia.
Ministry Biography:
Corrine is credentialed as a minister with the Assemblies of God and has received accreditation from the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her early educational background included Psychology and English. She was in the insurance business for many of those early years. During that time, she became involved in "life in the fast lane" and was dependent on alcohol. While she had experienced a personal relationship with Christ at age 13, she had never grown spiritually. A re-commitment to Christ and a deliverance from alcohol in 1973 was the beginning of a "new life". The Lord called Corrine to youth ministry in 1976 where she continued to minister to the young people of our church and the community until 2003 when the Lord called her to full-time pastoral counseling.
Philosophy of Ministry:
Corrine believes that all Christians need to realize that their identity lies in who they are in Christ; not in their educational degree, occupation, marital status, or other accomplishment.
Ministry Motto:
Isaiah 51:1 "...look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn". Corrine believes that this scripture is telling us to look back to the generations before us to see what may have contributed to what we are today. Counseling is not about "blame", but about discovering the reason for a problem and gaining victory. She believes the Lord wants His people to live an abundant life.

Shawn Sislo - Youth Pastor
Biography
Shawn was born in 1987, grew up in Superior and has attended Central Assembly of God his whole life. While attending the Youth Ministry at Central during his teen years he took a number of mission trips to Mexico. After graduating from High School in 2005 from Maranatha Academy he traveled to Africa where he worked with a school/orphanage for three months. Once returning to the States he studied to be a pastor. Over the next two summers he led his own teams to Mexico for mission trips. Toward the end of his pastoral studies he attended a missionary school in Antigua, Guatemala called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). It was during that time he had the opportunity to travel to the jungles of Belize and throughout the country of Guatemala reaching the lost. April of 2009 Shawn was credentialed as an Assemblies of God Pastor and received his license to preach. He married his Mexican sweetheart, Carolina, on July 11, 2009 and moved to Mexico. After living there a year and serving at Iglesia Nueva Creacin (New Creation Church) he moved back to Superior to take on the Student Pastor role at Central Assembly of God where he is currently serving.
Ministry Philosophy
Romans 2:4b "God's kindness leads you toward repentance." We are all sinners in need of a Savior. I believe the strongest influence the church has is kindness (love in action). If we were all kind to one another instead of judgmental of one another we would see a thriving church, and sinners repenting reaching toward the loving hand of God.
Ministry Motto
Develop, Equip, Reach...with Vision!
